BMH™ Technology

BMH(Bio Mimic Hydro) technology has been built using PMPC that mimic cell membrane structure combined with the novel grafting technology of BS Research.

BS Research plans to expand BMH™ Technology to other products that required benefits of biocompatible surfaces

  • Polymer stent: Improves patients' quality of life by prolonging the replacement cycle and reducing the required use of anticoagulants
    • - Can improve biocompatibility by applying BS Research's novel grafting technology to silicone and polymer stents
    • - Can secure semi-permanent biocompatibility by replacing surface coatings that have temporary effects
  • Artificial blood vessels : Inhibits blood coagulation and immune response
    • - PTFE(polytetrafluoroethylene) is the matrial used for artificial blood vessels.
    • - PTFE is well known for difficulties with grafting due to its molecular structure but it can be biocompatible when BS Research's grafting technology applied.
  • Breast implants : Minimizes reoperation rate by resolving related adverse events
  • Medical devices : Broad expandability
    • - Can reduce the cost for devices that are non-inserted types, such as dressing, etc., increasing possibility to extend its use to low-graded medical devices and household goods
